Job Title: Supervising Social Worker

Salary: £37.52 per hour
Type: Locum, Full Time, 3 Months (36 Hours per Week)

What you will do:

• Provide regular supervision, guidance, and support to foster carers, promoting high-quality care for children and young people.
• Undertake fostering assessments, annual reviews, and statutory visits in accordance with fostering regulations and national standards.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes for children in care.
• Deliver training, advice, and ongoing support to foster carers, strengthening their skills and confidence.
• Manage a diverse caseload while maintaining accurate, timely, and confidential records in line with statutory requirements.
• Advocate for the welfare, safety, and development of looked after children, ensuring their voices remain central to care planning.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
• Experience working within fostering services or children's social care.
• Strong knowledge of fostering legislation, safeguarding procedures, and statutory guidance.
• Excellent assessment, report writing, and case management skills.
• Strong communication, organisational, and partnership-working abilities.
