Job Description
Senior Healthcare Assistant (Days) - Residential Care
Location: Liverpool
Salary: From £13 per hour (To be confirmed)
Shifts: Day shifts only
Interview: Face-to-face
Job Overview:
We are currently recruiting a Senior Healthcare Assistant to join a well-respected residential care home in Liverpool, specialising in palliative and end-of-life care. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced carer looking to step into a senior role and make a real difference.
Key Responsibilities:
Support residents with personal care, nutrition, mobility, and medication
Provide compassionate palliative and end-of-life care
Assist the nursing and management team in supervising care staff on shift
Maintain up-to-date care records and follow care plans
Promote dignity, respect, and comfort for all residents
Support staff training and mentoring when required
Requirements:
NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum)
Experience working in residential care and with palliative/end-of-life needs
Strong communication and leadership skills
A caring and professional approach
Right to work in the UK
