Social Worker (Fostering), Blackpool - £38 to £41 per hour depending on experience, Hourly. Ongoing contract.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Worker specialising in fostering, working within our Connected Care team in Blackpool. We are offering a competitive hourly rate of £38 to £41, depending on experience, with the opportunity for ongoing work. This role is full-time and provides a chance to contribute meaningfully to children and families in the area.

What you will do:
- Conduct thorough assessments of prospective carers among family and friends
- Liaise closely with the Family Safeguarding Team to ensure coherent care plans
- Engage in care planning processes as guided by the court
- Apply a deep understanding of kinship care arrangements, focusing on connected carers and special guardians
- Ensure compliance with fostering regulations and the National Minimum Standards
The successful candidate will have:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in social work
- Current registration with Social Work England
- Extensive frontline experience within Social Services in the UK
- A comprehensive reference check spanning the last five years with any employment gaps accounted for
- An Adult and Child Workforce DBS
- Right to Work in the UK documentation
