What you will do:

- Engage in comprehensive assessments and care planning for adults, ensuring personalised support.

- Act as a safeguarding investigator and address issues affecting vulnerable adults.

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.

- Innovate solutions and implement community-based initiatives that promote inclusion.

- Make autonomous decisions on casework, managing your caseload efficiently.

- Maintain professional relationships and network with stakeholders to enhance service delivery.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

For a Grade 7 role:

- Registered with the appropriate professional body.

- Relevant professional Social Work qualification and evidence of continuing professional development.

- Experience in safeguarding vulnerable adults and social work practice.

- Ability to work within a team and independently, with excellent communication skills.

- Comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation including The Care Act and Mental Capacity Act.

For a Grade 8 role:

- Same qualifications as Grade 7, with additional supervisory experience.

- Successfully completed AYSE (if applicable).

- Ability to manage and prioritise a complex caseload.

- Demonstrated high-level IT skills and experience in using electronic record-keeping systems.

- Capable of supervising team members and encouraging professional development.
