Exciting Opportunity: Children's Social Worker/Family Court Adviser in Birmingham (UK), earning £36 per hour, for a period of 3 months, with the possibility of extending. What you will do:
* Conduct assessments and engage directly with children to understand and represent their views and wishes to the court.
* Use your expertise in robust risk assessment and mediation to advocate for arrangements that prioritise the best interest of the children involved.
* Collaborate with various stakeholders, including families and local authorities, to ensure the welfare and safety of the child(ren).
* Prepare detailed reports and present your findings in Family Court proceedings.
* Manage cases independently while maintaining an organised approach to workload.
Who we're looking for:
To be successful in this role, you need to have a relevant Social Work qualification and be registered with the Social Work England regulator. Ideally, you should have a minimum of 3 years' experience working with children and families, with a solid understanding of Family Court proceedings and Public Law. Being organised and resilient, you must be able to manage your workload effectively while working independently.
