What you will do:

- Conduct Section 42 safeguarding enquiries and attend strategy meetings

- Assess and review the needs of adults at risk, creating robust care plans

- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver a holistic approach to safeguarding

- Offer expert advice on the legislative framework applicable to adult safeguarding

- Ensure all actions comply with pertinent laws and local policies

- Provide mentorship or guidance to junior team members and new starters

Requirements of the Social Worker:

- Degree or equivalent in social work

- Current Social Work England registration

- Significant frontline experience in UK Social Services

- Expertise in safeguarding enquiries and Section 42 processes

- Strong understanding of relevant legislation
