Deputy Manager - Children's Residential Home (Rochdale)
Salary: £36,000 + bonuses + £1,000 probation completion bonus

We are proud to be working with a well-established and growing care provider for children and young adults, currently recruiting for a Deputy Manager for a 4-bed EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) home in Rochdale. The home is fully staffed with a dedicated and supportive team, providing the perfect foundation for success.
What's on Offer:
- Competitive salary: £36,000 per annum
- £1,000 bonus on successful completion of probation

- Sleep-in allowance: £50 per night
- Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to care staff
- Support the Registered Manager and lead the home in their absence
- Ensure the home maintains the highest standards in line with OFSTED requirements
- Promote positive outcomes for young people through education, activities, and emotional support
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Local Authorities, schools, healthcare, and other external partners
- Manage staff performance, absence, and welfare
- Ensure full Health & Safety compliance within the home
- Contribute to care planning and development for children aged 8-15
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in children's residential care
- Experience working with children with SEMH/EBD needs
- Solid understanding of strategies to support children with challenging behaviour
- Knowledge of OFSTED and residential care regulations
- Full UK driving licence is essential
- Confident working with children aged 8-15 years
