We are seeking a passionate and skilled Band 6 Residential Deputy Manager to join our forward-thinking Autism Hub team in Guernsey. Your Role & Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality assessments for service users with autism and associated complex needs.

Design, implement, and review tailored support plans that promote independence and quality of life.

Lead a dedicated team of staff, ensuring the consistent delivery of person-centred care.

Complete robust risk assessments to ensure the safety and wellbeing of service users.

Act as a mentor and role model, supporting the professional development of colleagues.

Involve service users in planning their own care, respecting their choices and voice.

Ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures and all regulatory requirements.

Provide transportation assistance using service vehicles when necessary.

What You'll Bring

Professional Registration in Health or Social Care (e.g. Nurse, OT, Speech and Language Therapist, Social Worker, Registered Behaviour Technician).

A commitment to ongoing professional development .

Strong communication skills and proficiency with IT systems.

Proven leadership and team management skills .

A deep understanding of autism, learning disabilities, and strength-based care.

A valid UK driving licence (flexibility available as agreed by management).
