Social Worker - Referral & Assessment Team in Kingston and Twickenham (UK), earning £37.52 hourly. This is a full-time locum position available for 3 months, offering a dynamic opportunity to work within both the Kingston and Richmond R&A Teams. With this role, you'll be part of a vibrant community, working in-office or out in the community three days a week as per the London pledge standards. Your expertise in social work will make a significant impact on the lives of children and young people by undertaking crucial protective measures, while working alongside an experienced team.

What you will do:

* Support children and young people by carrying out child protection investigations and developing safety and contingency plans.

* Build strong, respectful relationships with families, their support networks, and our partner agencies.

* Tackle more complex cases, including court work and pre-proceedings experience, ensuring thorough and comprehensive service delivery.

* Contribute to team management by occasionally deputising for team leaders and supervising the work of ASYE or students.

* Ensure that the voices of children and young people are actively captured and considered in all case recordings.

* Engage in reflective supervision and group supervision to continually improve the quality of service.
