    We have an excellent opportunity for a femalesupport worker to work alongside our client in Rugby

    Our client is a man in his 30s who has complex needs, including cerebral palsy, learning difficulties, physical difficulties and limited vision. He lives with his family in an specially adapted annex of the home, he is very sociable, enjoys company and being out and about with people. He likes music, sensory activities, cartoons, movies, superheroes, being in the garden and spending time with his family.

    Due to the client's support needs the successful candidate will need to be female, have some experience working with complex needs/brain injury and possess the softer skills of being a clear communicator with the motivation and ability to engage the client to build a solid, supporting relationship.

    Pay: £15.14 per hour weekdays, £17.30 per hour Sundays

    Hours: 12 per week over a two week period (08:00 - 20:00, Thursday Wk.1 & Sunday Wk.2)

    Key Responsibilities:

Operating on a national basis, we provide our clients with care and support wherever they are located. Our packages put our client's independence at the very centre of everything we do.
    • Supporting, and engaging with personalised routines inclusive of hoists.
    • Completing daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility.
    • Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
    • Providing emotional support and companionship.
    • Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients' conditions.
    • Collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
    Requirements:
    • A genuine passion for working with people and providing care.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
    • Reliability, commitment, and flexibility.
    • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
    • To be able to deal with challenging behaviours.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
