Job Description
Job Title: Healthcare Assistant (HCA) - Day Shifts
Location: Birkenhead
Setting: Nursing Home
Hours: 36 hours/week (2 x 12-hour shifts + 1 x 12-hour flexible shift)
Rate: £12.60/hour
About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants to join a well-established nursing home in Birkenhead. You will provide high-quality care and support to elderly residents, many of whom require personal and complex care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily living tasks: washing, dressing, feeding, toileting
Support residents with mobility and personal care needs
Monitor residents' health and report concerns
Maintain accurate records and follow care plans
Ensure residents are treated with dignity and respect at all times
Requirements:
Experience in a care or nursing home setting preferred
Caring, empathetic nature with good communication skills
Ability to work 12-hour day shifts
Must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
