Senior Healthcare assistant

Position: Senior Care Assistant (Day & Night Shifts)
Location: Ipswich, Suffolk
Setting: Residential & Dementia Care Home

Shifts & Hours:

• Night Shifts: 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM (1-hour paid break)

• Day Shifts: 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM (1-hour paid break)

• Handover: Seniors arrive 15 minutes early (paid)

Pay Rates:

• NVQ Level 4 Equivalent: £15.07/hour

• NVQ Level 3 Equivalent: £14.76/hour

• NVQ Level 2: £13.34/hour

Requirements:

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (with a view to work towards NVQ Level 3 after probation)

• Experience in residential and dementia care

• Medication trained

• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not provided)

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and lead care assistants during the shift

• Administer and manage medication

• Maintain accurate care records and assist with care planning

• Ensure the highest standards of care are delivered
