- Cerebral Palsy Support Worker - Skewen
£17 per hour (£18 on Sundays)
2x day shifts per week (07:30 - 21:00)
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Support Worker to join our team and work alongside one of our wonderful clients in Skewen. Our client is a fun, energetic character who loves spending time outdoors - and they're looking for someone to join them on their adventures, including attending hydrotherapy sessions.
About the Role:
This is a highly rewarding role for someone who is caring, patient, and motivated to make a real difference. You'll be providing tailored support to help our client live as independently and comfortably as possible.
What You'll Need:- Experience working with individuals with complex needs
- A full UK driving licence
- Confidence in using hoists and supporting physical mobility
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, engaging approach
- Compassion, empathy, and a good sense of humour
- Ability to build a strong, trusting relationship with the client
- Supporting daily routines, including personal care and hygiene
- Attending hydrotherapy sessions and enjoying outdoor activities together
- Administering medication and monitoring health
- Providing emotional support and companionship
- Accurately recording care and reporting any changes
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members
