What you will do:

* Undertake S47 investigations, assessments, planning, interventions, and reviews to support children in need.

* Collaborate with various professionals to maintain a multi-disciplinary approach aimed at improving outcomes for children and their families.

* Utilise Signs of Safety in your practice to work with a small group of children and families, focusing on achieving long-term positive outcomes.

* Engage children and families in decision-making processes, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.

* Act as the lead professional on statutory cases necessitating a qualified social worker, including high-risk children in need cases, child protection, and care proceedings.

* Contribute to multi-agency collaborations for safeguarding plans, care proceedings, or accommodation admissions.

* Maintain up-to-date and accurate case records using the council's electronic case management system.

* Participate in professional supervision and self-development through training to improve practice quality.
