Residential Support Worker

Velox Social Care are looking for dedicated Support Workers within the Northumberland area to provide quality, person-centred care to CYP (Children and Young people) who require structured care and support within a residential environment.

We are committed to finding individuals who want to make a real difference to children’s lives - people that are passionate, committed and invest in all that they do to achieve their potential and support others to do so.

You will be supporting young people to progress positively through receiving encouragement, understanding, care and patience. You will be required to do outdoor activities, record daily logs and liaise with colleagues, our dedicated Care Management Team and outside agencies.

There will be an opportunity for block bookings.

In order to be considered for this role you must meet the following criteria:

• Right to Work in the UK

• 6 Months+ UK experience of working within a similar CYP

(Children and Young people) setting

• Enhanced Child DBS, subscribed to the update service (or willing

to get one)

• Relevant Qualifications (Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care) or

willing to work towards one

• Have a full (clean) UK driving license

As a CYP Support Worker working with Velox Social Care, you will have your own dedicated Consultant to guide you through every aspect of the compliance and shift booking process.
