- Female Complex Care Assistant
Hourly Pay: £14.00
Location: Silsden
Day Shift: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Due to the personal care needs of the client, this role is open to female applicants only, in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.

You will provide one-on-one care for a young adult with cerebral palsy, helping them live life to the fullest at home and in the community.
This is more than just a care job - it's about building meaningful connections and empowering someone to enjoy their hobbies, explore their interests, and live independently.
Your Responsibilities- Support with personal care and daily living activities
- Administer medication as prescribed
- Perform suctioning and enteral feeding via Mic-Key gastrostomy
- Monitor and manage seizures
- Accompany the client to medical appointments and social activities
- Encourage engagement in fun and creative hobbies (arts & crafts, Lego building, movie nights)
- Build a trusting relationship with the client and their family
- Previous experience in complex care (suctioning, enteral feeding, seizure management)
- A compassionate, patient, and reliable nature
- A flexible and proactive approach to care
- Confidence in building rapport and offering emotional support
- A genuine commitment to promoting independence and dignity
- Full training in complex care, both online and classroom-based
- Opportunity to work towards NVQs in Health and Social Care

- Ongoing support from a dedicated Care Co-ordinator or Nurse Manager
