Job Description
Registered Manager (CQC) - Domiciliary Care
Hours: Full-time
Salary: £38,000 per annum (DOE)
Location: Barnsley
I am currently working with a Semi Independent Living service for 16-18 year olds in the Barnsley area that is searching for a new Manager to join their team. They pride themselves on providing excellent Supported Tenancy (Outreach), Floating Support, Solo Provision, and Emergency Placement.
As the manager, your focus will always be on ensuring the delivery of consistently high-quality services. You and
your team will develop and maintain flexible and realistic support plans using our excellent digital ca
management system in collaboration with the people we support, family members and other professionals. You will
be responsible for everyday operational management.
The role is not a CQC Registered Managers position at present. They would like you to either hold or be willing to
work towards NVQ Level 5 qualification. This position would also suit a Team Manager/Team Leader someone who
currently has management responsibilities, and is looking to take that next step in their career into a more senior
management position
Within this role you'll need previous experience in the following:
- At least 2 years in a management or supervisory role within health and social care
- Hands-on experience in managing a domiciliary care service
- Understanding of supported living services
- Track record of managing and motivating an effective team
- Strong understanding of current legal responsibilities and standards
The duties of this role would include but are not limited to:
- Work to CQC standards
- Manage the care team to ensure providing the best care
- On-call duties where necessary
