We have an exciting opportunity for a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker to join our Substance Misuse team at Gatwick IRC , a immigration removal centre located in Gatwick.
Hours
The site currently offers a 2 shifts per week but alternate weekends and flexible working days.
Salary
This position is part time, you'll receive an annual salary up to £30,684 pro rata per annum - depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK on a permanent basis and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
What you'll be doing
As a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- You will be working with other members of the team that you are part of, assessing needs of patients and assessing risks accordingly. You will provide outstanding evidence based care to a case load of psycho social patients seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them.
- You will provide a programme of psycho social interventions, along with information and advice on substance misuse related concerns.
- Opportunities to become SMART recovery facilitator
- develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.
