Job Description
- About The Role
- We have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Complex Care Support Worker to join our team in Cwmbran, Monmouthshire as a bank staff . In this position, you will deliver exceptional care and support to our client with Spinal Injury, prioritizing their comfort, safety, and overall well-being.
Pay Rate: £15 - £17 per hour
Working Hours:
You will be part of a team delivering 2:1 care. You should be flexible to work 12hour shift (Bank hours Days or Nights) 8am-8pm and 8pm-8am
Key Responsibilities:- Engaging with personalised routines
- Completing daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
- Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
- Providing emotional support and companionship.
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients' conditions.
- Collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work bank hours.
- Valid UK driver's license
- Supportive and friendly working environment.

An enhanced DBS check & full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client and you will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
