Job Advert: Home Manager – 30-Bedded Care Home in Walton-on-Thames (Good CQC)

Are you an experienced and dedicated Home Manager looking for your next exciting challenge? We have an exceptional opportunity for you to lead and manage a well-established 30-bedded care home in Walton-on-Thames. The home has a Good CQC rating, and we are looking for a passionate individual who can uphold our high standards of care while ensuring the wellbeing of both our residents and team.

Position: Home Manager

Location: Walton-on-Thames, Surrey

Care Home: 30-bedded Residential Care Home

CQC Rating: Good

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all aspects of the home’s operations, ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of care.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and staff to create a warm, welcoming, and efficient environment.

Oversee day-to-day operations, including staffing, budgets, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging personal development and training for all staff.

Ensure that the home meets all health and safety, quality assurance, and compliance standards.

Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless care for residents.

About You:

A proven track record as a Home Manager or Deputy Manager within a care setting.

Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations, and experience of achieving high CQC ratings.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to delivering person-centred care.

A valid NMC pin or NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or equivalent).
