Job Advert: Clinical Deputy Home Manager – East Sussex
Location: East Sussex
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00)
Salary: £53,000 per annum
Are you a dedicated and compassionate clinical professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking an experienced Clinical Deputy Home Manager to join our clients vibrant 90-bedded care home in East Sussex, rated GOOD by the CQC.
About the Role As Clinical Deputy Home Manager, you will play a key leadership role, supporting the Home Manager in ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance. This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse leader who thrives on making a difference, driving quality improvements, and leading a passionate team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Overseeing clinical care delivery and ensuring it meets regulatory standards.
Supporting and mentoring the care team to promote professional development and excellent care practices.
Managing staffing, training, and development to maintain a highly skilled and motivated workforce.
Conducting audits, updating care plans, and ensuring compliance with CQC regulations.
Acting as a key point of contact for residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
About You
We are looking for a confident and experienced leader with:
Valid NMC PIN and a strong clinical background.
Previous experience in a leadership role within a care home or similar environment.
A thorough understanding of CQC regulations and best care practices.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
A genuine passion for improving the lives of residents and supporting their families.
