Senior Support Worker - Supported Living Homes

Location: Farnborough
Salary: £13.50 per hour
Job Type: Full-time and Part-time positions available

Are you an experienced support worker looking to take the next step in your career? Do you have a passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Senior Support Worker in Farnborough!



About the Role:

As a Senior Support Worker, you will lead by example, providing high-quality, person-centered care and support to individuals in our supported living homes. You will play a key role in mentoring and guiding the support worker team, ensuring that individuals receive tailored care that promotes their independence and wellbeing.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing direct support to individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs.
  • Leading shifts, including coordinating team activities and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Supporting the development and delivery of person-centered care plans.
  • Acting as a role model and mentor for other support workers.
  • Conducting key administrative tasks, including recording care notes and reporting.
  • Promoting positive relationships with individuals, families, and external agencies.


Shifts:

  • Early shifts
  • Late shifts
  • Weekends
  • Bank holidays


What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within supported living or social care.
  • A strong understanding of supporting individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A compassionate and professional approach to care.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.


Requirements:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent (or willingness to work towards it).
  • Enhanced DBS check (provided by the company).
  • Medication Trained
