Job Description

Senior Night Care Assistant

Location: Residential Care Home, Bingley
Specialism: Dementia and Elderly Care

We are seeking compassionate and experienced Senior Night Care Assistants to join our dedicated team at our residential care home in Bingley. Our home is committed to providing exceptional care for residents, specializing in dementia and elderly care in a warm and supportive environment.



Roles Available:

  • 2 x Night Senior Care Assistant (24 hours per week each)
  • Shift Pattern: 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM (alternate weekends)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead the care team during night shifts to ensure the highest quality of care is provided.
  • Administer and manage medication according to care plans and guidelines.
  • Provide hands-on care, including personal care and assistance with daily activities, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
  • Monitor and record residents' health and well-being, escalating any concerns as necessary.
  • Support residents with dementia in a person-centered manner, creating a safe and comforting environment.
  • Act as a key point of contact for residents and their families during night shifts.


About You:

  • Previous experience in a senior care role, preferably in dementia and elderly care settings.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is desirable.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • A compassionate, empathetic approach to care with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions in a night care environment.
