Job Description

About the Role:
We are seeking an exceptional Nursing Home Manager to lead and oversee the operations of our high-quality care home. With a passion for delivering outstanding care and a commitment to driving excellence, you will ensure the home meets regulatory standards while fostering a positive and supportive environment for residents, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and management to a team of dedicated care professionals, ensuring high standards of care are delivered consistently.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, including CQC and other relevant bodies, ensuring exceptional inspection outcomes.
  • Drive occupancy levels and financial performance while keeping care quality and resident satisfaction as top priorities.
  • Implement effective care planning, monitoring, and evaluation systems to meet residents' individual needs.
  • Lead on safeguarding, risk management, and health and safety within the home.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders, fostering a culture of openness and trust.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and development of staff to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce.

About You:
The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience managing a nursing or residential care home.
  • A track record of improving and maintaining high standards of care, including successful CQC inspections.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • A sound understanding of financial management within a care home setting.
  • RGN or RMN qualification (preferred but not essential).
  • NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (or willingness to work towards).
  • A passion for person-centered care and a drive to achieve outstanding outcomes for residents.
