- About The Role
- Sonderwell are recruiting for a Support Worker to work with young people within supported living. We are looking for someone who is a passionate and eager to join our strong team and is able to provide first class care to young people that promotes independence.
Taking on a role as a support worker and displaying responsibility for young people, you will present positive and encourage role modelling, allowing them to strengthen their trust and build strong relationships.
As a support worker, you will follow a specific Behaviour Management Plan and Care Plan to safeguard our young people. You will help to inspire and encourage them in behaving in a respectful, and appropriate manner.
This is an exciting opportunity that is on a temporary to permanent basis and can offer up to 70 hours per week!
Your responsibilities as a support worker are completely varied but here are just a few:- Assure all young people are safeguarded.
- All young people are listened to.
- Encourage and motivate young people to participate in group activities.
- Enhancing the ability to build positive relationships with young people we care for.
- Write clear and detailed follow up reports.
- Accommodate to the young person's needs, self-reliance and living to look after their emotional and physical wellbeing.
