- About The Role

- We have an exciting opportunity for a committed Part time Support Worker to join our team in Middlesbrough. In this position, you will deliver exceptional care and support to our young client with complex health needs and a wheelchair user, prioritizing their comfort, safety, and overall well-being.
Given the personal care requirements, we are looking for a female support worker. The ideal candidate should be able to drive.
You will have prior experience in care with a solid background in following care plans and protocols, you will be able to demonstrate confidence in your role, as well as taking a compassionate and caring approach towards your client.
Working Hours:
Hours required: 4 hours on Wednesdays (10am- 2pm) However the hours will increase as it's a gradual process.
Key Responsibilities:- Delivering personalised care and support to clients with complex health conditions.
- Assisting with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, driving to school and daily trips.
- Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
- Providing emotional support and companionship.
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients' conditions.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Care experience essential with a good grounding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work the specified hours.
- Able to drive with a valid UK license.
- Training will be provided to suit client need.
