Nursing Home Manager - Cardiff

Are you an experienced and compassionate leader with a passion for delivering exceptional care? We are seeking a dynamic Nursing Home Manager to lead our team at our clients nursing home.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious professional to make a lasting impact by ensuring the highest standards of care and operational excellence.



Role Overview:

As the Nursing Home Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the home's operation, including care delivery, staff management, regulatory compliance, and financial performance. You will inspire and lead a dedicated team to ensure that residents receive person-centered, dignified care in a safe, warm, and supportive environment.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong leadership and management to staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Ensure the home meets and exceeds all regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality, personalized care to all residents.
  • Manage budgets effectively, ensuring financial sustainability and growth.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement, identifying and implementing innovative care practices.


About You:

We are looking for a motivated and empathetic leader with:

  • A proven track record in a management role within the healthcare or care home sector.
  • A relevant management qualification (Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory standards, including CIW requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • A passion for delivering person-centered care and enhancing quality of life for residents.
  • The ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team to achieve outstanding results.
