Job Description
- About The Role
- We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Braintree, Essex. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with complex health needs, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Please note this is a BANK ROLE and we cannot guarantee the hours as you will cover shifts as and when required.
Due to the location & nature of the role we are looking for a driver who has access to their own vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:- Delivering personalised care and support to clients with complex health conditions.
- Assisting with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
- Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
- Providing emotional support and companionship.
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients' conditions.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work the specified hours.
- Driver with access to own vehicle
