Job Description
Job Title: Care Assistant (Residential & Nursing Home)
Location: Brighton
Hourly Rate: £11.51 - paid breaks
Hours: Full-time / 36 to 48 hours per week
Shift Times: Days 8am to 8pm or Nights 8pm to 8am

The Role:
We are looking for dedicated, caring, and empathetic Care Assistants to join our outstanding team. As a Care Assistant, you will play a key role in enriching the lives of our residents, supporting them with their daily needs, and creating a safe, comfortable, and positive environment.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing personal care, such as washing, dressing, and assisting with meals
- Supporting residents with mobility and everyday tasks while promoting independence
- Building meaningful relationships and offering emotional support to residents
- Assisting with social activities to promote engagement and well-being
- Working closely with nursing and senior care staff to deliver tailored care plans
- Observing and reporting any changes in residents' health or behavior to the nursing team
- Ensuring that residents' dignity and privacy are maintained at all times
- Helping to maintain a clean, safe, and homely environment for everyone
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Care Assistant is desirable, but not essential
- A compassionate and caring nature
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A willingness to undertake training and development
- Care Certificate, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable but not required)
- Right to work in the UK
