Agency Support Worker

Hourly Rate:

Day Shifts: Weekdays - £12, Weekends - £12.50
Night Shifts: Weekdays - £12.50, Weekends - £13.50

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Support Worker - Minimum 6 months
Level 3 in Health and Social Care - Desirable
An empathetic and patient approach to supporting individuals with diverse needs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust
Knowledge of person-centred care and a commitment to promoting individuals' independence and well-being
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a diverse and inclusive team environment
A commitment to upholding ethical standards and respecting the rights and dignity of others

Responsibilities

Provide person-centred support to individuals, taking into consideration their unique needs and preferences
Assist in daily activities such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and personal care
Support individuals in accessing community resources, social activities, and healthcare services
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and family members to ensure holistic care for individuals
Maintain accurate and detailed records of individual progress and any significant developments
Uphold principles of diversity, equality, and inclusion in all aspects of support delivery
Remain responsive to the changing needs of individuals and adapt support strategies accordingly
