Nursing Home Manager

Salary: £60,000 + Bonus scheme

40 hours per week

As a Nursing Home Manager, you will combine your clinical expertise as a Nurse with management skills to oversee the day-to-day operations and create a nurturing environment for residents and staff. The Nursing Home is set in a large and beautiful building, surrounded by the countryside. The dedicated team provides nursing and personal care to a small number of older adults.

Qualifications

Current registration as an RGN with a valid UK NMC Pin
Proven Nursing Home experience, with a track record of Good CQC reports
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards in elderly care.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
Commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion within the nursing home.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing and care staff to deliver person-centered care in accordance with regulatory standards.
Oversee the operational and financial management of the nursing home, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and external healthcare professionals to promote collaboration and communication.
Implement quality improvement initiatives and ensure the delivery of high-quality care services.
Manage staffing levels, recruitment, training, and performance management to maintain a skilled and motivated team.
Foster a culture of inclusion, diversity, and equality among staff and residents.
