Nursing Home Manager

40 hours (Monday-Friday)

Salary: £52,000 - £55,000 p/a

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Nursing Home Manager to lead the operations of our client's nursing home. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality care to Older Adults while overseeing staff management and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

Level 5 in Health & Social Care
Proven experience in residential elderly care within leadership, with a strong understanding of managing a home
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and support a diverse team.
Thorough knowledge of healthcare regulations, including CQC (Care Quality Commission) standards and best practices in nursing care.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing home, including managing staff, coordinating resident care, and handling administrative tasks.
Ensure the delivery of person-centered care, tailored to meet the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
Recruit, train, and supervise nursing and support staff while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals to enhance the overall well-being of residents.
Monitor and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and healthcare standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to facilitate open communication and a supportive environment.
