Residential Service for those with Physical Disabilities and Complex Needs          

Introduction          

Compass Associates are working with a highly respected charitable provider of Residential and Respite services that provide support for Children and Young Adults with Neurodisabilities and Complex Needs. Together, we are seeking a Home Manager to oversee a Residential / Short Break - Respite service in North Chailey, Lewes.          

Overview        

As the Home Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring the health needs of the children and young people and to work alongside Chailey Clinical Services to ensure the best outcomes. Reporting to and working alongside the Registered Manager, this is a great opportunity for a Home Manager to oversee an excellent Residential Service specialising in complex physical disabilities and associated health needs. As a well-regarded residential service delivering the highest quality of care, experience of managing a complex needs setting is essential. As the Home Manager, you will also be tasked in developing the staff within their own career progression, as well as translating the group strategy into local operations and developing relationships with stakeholders and local authorities.                   

Requirements:          

Experience of managing a Children's Residential Service  

Ability to support, manage and develop staff through different strategies          

Excellent knowledge of Ofsted standards                                                                         

Self-motivated, driven, and passionate individual            

Experience of engaging young adults with complex needs back out within the community                       

Summary        

The Home Manager will play a crucial role in the day-day running of this Residential / Short Break - Respite service. You will work alongside the Senior Management Team and will hold full accountability of the provision, and for the leadership and performance of this Residential Service.
