Essential criteria
- NVQ level 2 or equivalent Maths and English GCSE Grade A-C (or equivalent Care certificate or willing to complete this upon employment
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent

- Previous experience working with members of the public
- Previous experience in a maternity setting and aware of the principles of woman and family centred care.

- The applicant possesses generalised knowledge to inform their understanding of the job role and specific knowledge related to tasks or activities within their scope of role. They must demonstrate an awareness of contemporary public health and health promotion initiatives, including where legal and ethical issues are relevant to their scope of role.
