Qualifications
Essential criteria
  • GCSE or equivalent grade c or above in English and Maths
  • Diploma in Health and Social Care level 3 or equivalent


Desirable criteria
  • Health related undergraduate degree such as Psychology


Experience
Essential criteria
  • Previous experience as a Band 2/3 HCA or equivalent in a care environment.


Desirable criteria
  • Evidence of managing independant caseload
  • Ability to deliver skilled interventions


Personal Attributes
Essential criteria
  • Compassionate in meeting the needs of vulnerable people and their families and carers.


Desirable criteria
  • Ability to remain calm and support people experiencing distress


Skills
Essential criteria
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of confidentiality
  • Effective time management


Desirable criteria
  • Experience of MHA
  • Experience of MCA
