Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with a leading care home provider to recruit an Interim Deputy Manager for their elderly care home near Leamington Spa in Warwickshire. This role is a 12-month fixed-term-contract to provider cover for maternity leave. As the Deputy Manager of this modern care home, you will support the delivery of the high-quality care that this provider is known for and will need to be comfortable working on the floor.  

Working closely with the Home Manager and taking on leadership duties in their absence, you can expect to help with everything from training, improving care levels and recruitment. You will inspire a team to make sure they help every resident to enjoy the best possible quality of life. That means leading by example and monitoring care standards. 

The Candidate   

As the Deputy Manager, you will need to hold or be working towards a level 4 in Health & Social Care and will need to be comfortable working on the floor as the role will be a mixture of floor and supernumerary shifts. Finally, you will be compassionate, resilient, and determined to deliver quality care in our engaging and energetic environment.       

Requirements    

Level 4 Health & Social Care (or working towards) (Essential)

Happy to commit to a 12-month fix term contract.   

Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or Head of Care.

Available to start by July.

Location   

This role is based within the Leamington Spa area and would be suitable commute from Coventry, Birmingham, Solihull, Warwick, Rugby, Stratford-upon-Avon, Nuneaton and Banbury.
