Mental Health Nurse RMN / RNLD

Monday- Friday, 40.25 h/week

Overview

Compass Associates are proud to support a specialist eating disorder services in their search for qualified RMN to join the team at their inpatient treatment facility in London. You will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of a high-quality care for individuals with the most complex cases within an inpatient hospital for children and young people with an eating disorder condition.    

Responsibilities

Working as a part of the nursing team, which is responsible for delivering high quality nursing care to young people and their families on a day-to- day basis.

To work as a competent practitioner and role model in the provision of therapeutic care and treatment to the young people in the service and their families, under the direction of senior nurses, and consultant psychiatrists.

Participation in and upholding of the structured programme.

Devising, implementing, and reviewing packages of care.

Ensuring that all centre guidelines; policies and procedures are always adhered to.

To comply with the Data Protection Act.

Requirements:

Registered Nurse Qualifications or studying towards NMC registration (final year at University)

Experience of working with young people.

CAHMS experience desirable.

Commitment to delivering high quality care.

Experience within the mental health setting.

Shift Patterns:

Full time, 40.25 h per week across the week

Interview Process:

Two stages- 1st stage informal chat (phone call or virtual). Second stage - formal face to face with Director and Clinical Lead.
