Deputy Manager - Adult Learning Disabilities Residential home
Scunthorpe
£35'500 per annum
Remit
Compass Associates are working with one the country's leading providers of specialist care for adults with learning disabilities and autism, to recruit a Deputy Manager for their brand-new step down service near Scunthorpe.
Candidate
You would be the Deputy Manager of a brand new Residential step down service, which would provide specialist care and support for adults with learning disabilities. You would be reporting to the Registered Manager and will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring compliance across the service, as well as managing a team. The ideal candidate for this position would have a passion and keen interest in learning disabilities, must be able to demonstrate strong leadership and have strong people management skills. The Deputy Manager will be responsible for 5 team leaders, whilst ensuring the service is constantly compliant through the completion of risk assessments, PBS framework, budget delegation and audits.
Requirements
NVQ level 3/Diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care
Working towards a recognized management qualification would be advantageous
Learning Disability experience essential
Up to date knowledge of CQC regulations, Health and Social care legislations
Excellent communicator
Strong staff management skills
Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) experience
Commutable from: Barton-upon-Humber, Gainsborough, Market Rasen, Doncaster, Grimsby, Goole
Hours
40 hours a week, Monday to Friday
