A purpose-built, privately-owned residential care home is currently looking to recruit a carer to work in their care home east of Dumfries.

The home boasts are a fantastic local reputation for offering extremely high standards of care for their elderly residents.

What the home is offering and details of this Carer post:

• A permanent contract for 35 hours per week on day or night shifts, full or part time hours are available

• Great hourly rates of pay at £10.50

• Comprehensive induction, with ongoing training and career development prospects

The role will involve all aspects of personal care and support and you will be required to assist service users with personal care. You will also lead shifts, coordinate care and lead and develop the team of care staff.

What the home is looking for in a Carer:

• Ideally hold an NVQ/SVQ Level 2/3 or be willing to work towards this

• Able to undertake all aspects of personal care and support and maintain the privacy dignity of residents

• Passionate about delivering high quality care

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
