Job Description
Detailed job description and main responsibilities Undertake a range of delegated clinical care duties deliver to deliver agreed plans of care.
Provide excellent customer care skills to ensure patients come first.
To ensure patients receive high quality clinical care and a good patient experience, having regard for their customs, religious beliefs and doctrines.
Recognise and avoid situations that may be detrimental to the health and wellbeing of the individuals.
To act as an advocate for patients within the ward / department, to ensure a patient orientated approach to the delivery of care.

- Evidence of a general education e.g. GCSE's or equivalent
Desirable criteria
- NVQ 2 in Healthcare / QCF Diploma in Health Level 2 or equivalent qualification
Knowledge Essential criteria
- Knowledge and experience of taking clinical observations
- Knowledge of Manual handling of patients, using lifting aids
- Understanding the requirements of Patient Confidentiality
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge of hospital systems
Experience Essential criteria
- Commitment to working in partnership with patients / carers
- Experience working as part of a team

- Some experience of working as a healthcare assistant in a hospital or registered care setting
