Outpatient Manager (RGN) - Private Hospital
Location: North of Watford - Hertfordshire
Position: Outpatient Manager

About the service: We are delighted to be recruiting for an Outpatient Manger join our highly reputable private healthcare provider in their bright and vibrant private hospital just north of Watford in Hertfordshire. The hospital is ideally situated within easy reach of Hatfield, St Albans, Stevenage, Watford, North London and throughout Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Outpatient experience Senior/Lead Registered Nurse, Manager to join a leading, forward-thinking private hospital in their expanding hospital north of Watford. The hospital offers a range of services including specialist rehabilitation physiotherapy and outpatient diagnostic facilities including fast-track access to X-ray, MRI, CT and ultrasound. The hospital has 10 consulting rooms and 3 treatments rooms, focusing on ENT, Gynae and Minor Op's. This role consists of managing a rapidly growing team of 7, reporting to the Clinical Director, dealing with data, complaints, policies and guidelines as well as having the experience to be surgically hands on within outpatients.
About the role:
You will be working on the ward as part of our nursing team and will be responsible for:
Delivering the highest quality of outpatient care to patients
Working well as part of a supportive team, offering knowledge and support as well as working well independently
Assessing patient needs with enthusiasm and empath, always ensuring safety and comfort of patients
Assist with wound care and a sound knowledge of HAI and able to report on Datix.
Effective running clinics focusing on both patients and Consultants preferences throughout the patients pathway.
Keeping records, up to date, accurate and managing them on an IT System; dealing with data, complaints and delivering a high standard of patient care within agreed financial limits, carry out Clinical governance and audit processes
Be professional and even tempered within the workplace, with ability to be organised, flexible and meet constant change of needs
Carrying out hands on procedures and running and producing lists on various specialities
Who we're looking for;
Be NMC registered RGN - your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
Managerial experience is essential
Teaching, assessing mentorship qualification
Eligibility to live and work in the UK
Previous outpatient experience, with proven ability to manage others
Experience working within the private sector
Evidence of continued professional development
Understanding of COSHH / Medicine Management, ILS/ ALS/ PILS
Proven ability to with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and One Healthcare Policies, Procedures and Guidelines.
Ability to work well independently and within a team
Good written, numerical, and verbal communication skills
Computer literate using MS Office Suite and web based reporting systems
Someone who can be a positive role model; positivity, empathy, accountability, caring, quality and value, trust, transparency and transformation, honesty, integrity, openness and ethics in the workplace
