We are looking for Care Assistants to work in a fantastic purpose built care home based in Cardiff. This luxury service has a great family run feel with a fantastic management team.

The home is split into various units, caring for clients with complex care needs and/or challenging behaviours often ensuing from mental illness. For the role of a Care Assistant, you will be tasked with collaborating with the care team, delivering and implementing exceptional care for residents. You will have the ability to work autonomously and effectively promote health and wellbeing within the service.

Criteria for a Care Assistant:

NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care desirable or a willingness to undertake the qualification

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Medication administration training and/or a willingness to undertake training if required
• A passion for working within the highly rewarding elderly care sector
