Job Description

Seven Resourcing are looking for a temporary SEND Reforms and Autism Project Officer to work in Bromley. This position is initially for a period of 3 months and is paying £23.60 per hour (paid to you via an umbrella company).

The role:

Working across LB Bromley and in partnership with South East London CCG have responsibility for delivering high quality and successful projects, with a specific focus on the Bromley All-Age (Adults and children) Autism Action Plan.

To work with partners across education, health and care (including parent carers and individuals with SEND) across the Local Area to ensure a fast paced delivery of actions to ensure outcomes are improved for children, young people and adults with SEND.

To lead on data and information management, together with management reports as required.

To drive positive change by challenging organisations.

Key Responsibilities:

To provide robust management oversight on specific service projects, together with providing project management support to more complex projects, within the SEND Reforms Programme ensuring high quality delivery which adheres to project timescales, voids duplication and is delivered within identified budgets.

To provide day to day project management leadership to the Bromley All age Autism Partnership Board (BAAB), monitoring project milestones and ensuring actions are kept to time and budget, reporting progress to the SEND Governance Board.

To liaise effectively with senior leaders from across schools, Education, Health and Social Care and external agencies to drive forward the BAAB agenda providing a high level of support and challenge where required.

To set out expected actions, deadlines and accountability for action and priority leads to achieve high levels of performance against agreed actions within the BAAB Action Plan.

To help to develop the Autism Strategy for Adults in Bromley in partnership with key stakeholders across the borough.

To organise focus groups, feedback groups and training with families and people with Autism.

Liaising with the BAAB Chair, oversee and manage the Autism Board including preparing papers ,analyse and present data and draw conclusions about the current and future need of the project.

Applicant Requirements:

* Qualifications: N/A.

* Experience: 1+ year of experience within a similar role.

* Compliance: Proof of ability to work and live in the UK. References covering the past 5 years.

* Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.

* Hours: 35 hours p/w.
