Night Senior Support Worker - Mental Health

£9.55 P/H

7.45pm - 8am

Overview

Compass Associates are excited to be working alongside a mental healthcare provider operating five homes nationwide, offering high quality care for people with severe and enduring mental health needs. Our client is currently looking for an experienced Senior Support Worker to join their team in Manchester.

With a responsible and caring attitude, you will be asked to assist clients with personal care, meal provision, administering medication and taking care of client's wellbeing. You will work in friendly but sometimes challenging environments, therefore excellent interaction and communication skills are essential. Experience of supporting adults with challenging behaviours is desirable but not essential as you will be provided with in-house training.

Responsibilities  

- To assist with leadership on the floor

- Completing shift planners  

- Delegating task to staff

- To support implementation of Resident`s care plan  

- To provide key working role and to arrange and hold weekly key working sessions with allocated residents.  

Requirements  

- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care

- Experience of supporting adults with challenging behaviours is desirable but not essential as in-house training is provided.

Working hours and shift pattern

- 38.5 hours per week  

- 7.45pm - 8am

- Week 1 shifts - Wed, Thu, Fri

-Week 2 shifts - Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat

Location

Manchester, specific location commutable from Stretford and Stockport

One stage interview conducted by Registered Manager and Deputy manager.
