Deputy Manager / Head of Care

Our client operates a number of residential homes across the UK. Their homes are renowned for offering a homely, safe and comfortable environment, where residents feel cherished and well cared for, and we have been asked to find a Head Of Care/ Deputy Manager to join their very committed team of staff at their home in this beautiful Norfolk village between Cromer and Norwich

This home enjoys good grades with CQC and has been purpose built, to a very high standard, giving every modern day comfort and a feeling of space and light , with ensuite facilities, a resource centre, cafe and beautiful gardens.

The home provides a safe haven for older people, particularly those with dementia, and the service is currently introducing  superb person-centred software, making this a really exciting time to join the organization

As Deputy to the manager, you will be required to support her to ensure the smooth running of the home. You will possess strong supervisory skills, be responsible for the quality of care and have the experience required to lead and motivate a staff team. You will ensure the team delivers excellent person centered care by helping each resident enjoy the highest possible quality of life within a Christian environment.

For us to recommend you for this role, you will

Have experience of working in a similar senior role

Hold a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care and have or be willing to work towards Level 4 (or equivalent)

Have sound clinical knowledge within a residential setting

Have good experience of auditing

Have the ability to deliver and facilitate excellent care

Be able to lead and manage cohesive staff teams

Have a lively,cheerful and assertive personality

Be able to work within the Christian ethos of the home
