Support Worker

Better Healthcare are recruiting for a Support Worker to join their team working in a small learning disability service in Bourne with a view to becoming permanent after 12 weeks. The service is located in Bourne and is home to five ladies and one gentleman who require day to day support.

The role involves moving and handling and personal care to support the tenants and as a Support Worker you would have a team at the service to guide and support you.

The ideal candidate would have previous experience of working as a Support Worker in a similar setting. You would also be empathetic and be pro-active in your approach to providing support to the tenants in the service.

Support Worker Requirements:

Experience of providing care and/or support to vulnerable people.

Possess excellent people skills.

Have a passion for supporting adults with learning disabilities.

Be able to develop and maintain good working relationships

Be able to demonstrate positive personal authority.

Have great communication skills.

Pay is £8.72 to £13.50 per hour
