Domestic Abuse Case Worker

Better Healthcare are recruiting for a Domestic Abuse Case Worker to undertake shifts at our client, who are a specialist Homeless Hostel for those who have been subject to Domestic Abuse.

Located in Norwich, Norfolk, the successful applicant will be supporting young females and adults who are homeless, suffer mental health issues and/or substance misuse problems. Staffed 24 hours a day, the service focuses on the needs of the client and promoting independence.

Support plans are in place based around the Outcome Star and cover key living skills and recovery.

As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will be on hand to assist with their rehabilitation process, including but not limited to:

Supporting the management team with the admissions and assessment process

Implement and follow the patients care plans, with a focus on dignity, respect and safety

Monitor and record patients progress

Building a positive rapport with patients and offering emotional support, whilst maintaining professional boundaries

Maintain a safe, clean environment for the patients and staff team to live and work in

Shifts available are flexible and include days, nights, weekends and Bank Holidays.

Location: Norwich

Pay: £9.00ph - £13.00ph

Hours: 08:00-20:00 / 20:00-08:00
