ACTIVITIES COORDINATOR - Slough

Howard Finley Care are currently recruiting for an experienced Activities Coordinator to work on a permanent basis within our client's 35 bedded Residential Home. The home is registered to provide care to a range of vulnerable people, some of which suffer from Alzhiemer's disease, challenging behaviour and more.

Activities Coordinator vacancy details:

• £9.50 to £10.00 per hour
• Full-time, permanent employment
• 10:00am to 17:00pm shifts
• Monday to Friday (occasional weekends for events, etc.)

Activities Coordinator duties:

• Planning delivery of programmes, activities and actions that engage all our residents
• Ensure all activities are documented on a daily progress sheet
• Motivating and inspiring our residents to engage in community integration
• Engaging and liaising with relatives and care staff regarding the progress of activity and ensure our residents receive the best possible service
• Always ensure the health and safety of residents and our team
• Communicate changes and updates with keyworker and others on a need to know basis.
• Make sure that you, the site, and team are compliant with all policies and procedures
• Report any incidents or accidents.

Activities Coordinator skills/ experience and qualifications:

• NVQ's in Health and Social care/ Activity Provision are desired but not essential
• Experience working as an Activities Coordinator is needed
• A driving license and access to a vehicle is desired
