Seven Social Care are looking for a temporary Wellbeing Worker to work in Thurrock. This position is initially for a period of 6 weeks and is paying £13.40 per hour (paid to you via an umbrella company).

The role:

We are looking for people who can work at least 3 shifts a week (one shift a day - either early or late). We ask you for your shift availability when you apply and you'll need to be available to work weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

* Work alongside the person (service user), and others (e.g. Health and Social Care Professionals including the GP, District Nursing Team, Therapists, Community and Voluntary Sector, Friends and Family) integral to the wellbeing of that person, to co-design their support plan

* To co-design and continually review the individual's care and support plan based on the assessment carried out by the social worker and indicative budget allocated to the individual as a result of that assessment

* To be able to problem solve and think creatively in order to facilitate the person achieving the things that matter most to them and have the best outcomes possible - this includes often complex scenarios

* Maintain a focus on using resource (in terms of the care budget allocated to the individual as a result of their assessment, and in terms of considering all resources in the community available to help deliver the best solution - e.g. clubs, groups, friends, family, technology) flexibly to achieve the things that matter most to the person

* Facilitate how the individual's independence and wellbeing can be met at all times via the resource available - e.g. the budget allocated to the individual and the resources available within the community

Applicant Requirements:

* Qualifications: N/A.

* Experience: 2+ years working within a similar role.

* Compliance: Current DBS check.

* Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.

* Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
