Salary: Up to 50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Setting: Private Mental Health Hospital

About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dedicated Ward Manager to join a leading private mental health hospital based in Chelmsford. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a clinical ward, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and professional practice are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide effective leadership and management to the ward team.
• Ensure high-quality, patient-centred care in line with CQC standards and clinical best practice.
• Support, mentor and develop nursing staff, fostering a positive and supportive working environment.
• Manage staffing levels, rotas, budgets and resources efficiently.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective service delivery.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and contribute to service development.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RMN/RNLD) with active NMC registration.
• Significant post-registration experience within a mental health setting.
• Proven leadership or management experience.
• Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and best practice.
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
