You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a clinical ward, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and professional practice are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide effective leadership and management to the ward team.
- Ensure high-quality, patient-centred care in line with CQC standards and clinical best practice.
- Support, mentor and develop nursing staff, fostering a positive and supportive working environment.
- Manage staffing levels, rotas, budgets and resources efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective service delivery.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and contribute to service development.
- Registered Nurse (RMN/RNLD) with active NMC registration.
- Significant post-registration experience within a mental health setting.
- Proven leadership or management experience.
- Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and best practice.
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Competitive salary up to 50,000 per annum.
